Foundations in TuiNa
Our 377 hour Certified TuiNa Therapist (CTT) program. This program is for graduates of our Foundations in Massage program; current CMT’s who have graduated from a state approved school providing 500 hours or more of training; and, graduates of accredited TCM schools. Upon graduation, the student will be qualified to sit for the national board exam* with the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM); will be qualified for entry to middle level position; and, will be qualified to enter our Advanced TuiNa Studies program. Requires 2 days of class per week, clinic and documented practicum
*Note:
Currently, both the NCBTMB
exam and the NCCAOM exam
remain optional exams in the state of Colorado.
Advanced TuiNa Studies
Our 195.2 hour Advanced TuiNa Therapist (CATT)program. This course of studies is designed around advancing the skills and competency of graduates from our Foundations in TuiNa program. This program will delve more deeply into studying TCM theory, patterns and pattern discrimination, and examin more complex and difficult treatment plans. Our Advanced TuiNa Studies program includes a trip to China for Advanced studies, as well as advanced studies at OHAI. The graduate should be able to acquire an entry or intermediate level position. Requires 1 day of class for 11 weeks, 20 hours research paper and 3-week hospital residency in China studying with TuiNa specialist. Download and print out our online application form!

As of April 2006, OHAI restructured its goals and its programs to more effectively meet the needs and objectives of our school, our students, and the massage and Asian bodywork therapies community. We will no longer offer education in western massage therapy. Instead, OHAI will focus all of its energy and expertise on the study and practice of TuiNa. |
